In TV/Video/Film production, all areas are closely related. For instance, lighting will be if any of the constituent units, such as scenic set, costume, make-up and the technique or style of the production fails to do its work correctly.
For this reason, the set designer, costume designer, wardrobe mistress, make-up artiste, director, producer, presenter and newscaster will need to attend the lighting training course to acquire the basic knowledge.
